How to find a city in the Mini-Atlas and how to add it, if it is not there :-)
Example city: San Francisco
Select the "Mini" radiobutton and start typing "San Francisco" into the search field
(this is the field with rounded corners, where the red arrow is pointing at)
you will see a lot of movement in the above list of locations, while typing.
It is a good idea, to click into the list of towns, to make fully sure you have the proper town selected.
(click once on some other town, then on the town you wish, and watch the data fields to the right)
Example city: Caspar
Select the "Mini" radiobutton and start typing "Caspar" into the search field (like you just did)

to our slight disappointment we will find, that only Casper, Natrona is available and selected,
and not Caspar, California, as we would have expected. So let us extend the Atlas.
To add a new city we click the "Add" button at the right bottom of the window and the next screen
to find our attention is this one:

Following the advice of the "Timezone Alert!" we say "OK" to it and first select the closest town
to Caspar that we know. As Caspar is in California our proper choice must necessarily be a town in
California. Easiest way to go is to select the capital, in this case "Sacramento", by starting to type
"Sacramento" into the search field:

You will notice, that the Timezone has now changed from 7hw00:00 to 8hw00:00 which is highly
important. This value means, that there is a time-shift of now 8 hours from universal time. A wrong
time-shift would mess up all your calculations based on that town. Further, the daylightsaving
rules of Sacramento will now be applied to the new Town (Casper) that we are going to enter.
To finally enter the new town we take our attention to the upper part of the window (out of the box):

Let us give this some attention:
"New City based on Dailight Saving Rule of:" has a new Content now. What you see is the AAF-data
for Sacramento. Before you had the AAF-data of Casper,Natrona there (you can still see this on the
screenshot with the timezone alert).
Let us ignore the Calculator for now, it will be part of another Atlas tutorial. What we need now
are the local Coordinates of Caspar and its proper spelling.
Change the entry fields "Latitude", "Longitude" and "Cityname" like this:

Please notice, that i have not entered a State, as the State of the Sacramento will automatically
be used, as we have selected that City to be used as the Rule-Giver of our calculation.
Then hit "OK".
The Fields will now snap back to just anything, but our newly entered town has been saved.
It is now situated in the "Private Atlas".

To finally find and select your new town, click on the "Own" radiobutton and then select your newly
entered City and have a closer look at it:

You can see, that all the Values of Sacramento have been applied to it, but that it has its own
local coordinates.
If now you find you might wish to change this location somehow, just make sure you don't have
"Sacramento in Brackets" near the location before you click "Change" but just the location name
itself, because "(Sacramento)" will get added automatically again, just that you remember the
origin of the dailyight saving rule of your new city.
To actually get out "Sacramento" you can use Apple's Editor "TextEdit" to open and manually
edit your private Atlas file, it will look like this:

if you manually edit your Private.Acs file, make sure you don't mess it up, so before you start
experimenting on it, make a backup-copy of this file.
